The Android Lollipop rollout hasn’t been the fastest thing we’ve ever seen – the first code drop of the Material Design-inclusive update arrived months ago – but it’s been chugging along nonetheless. Given that it just recently started rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, it was only a matter of time before the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Lollipop update began making its way to users, and it’s done just that today.

Just like all good things (read: product launches), this update will begin rolling out first in Australia. Australians will be treated to a whopping 1.02 GB download of Google’s latest software, with a fresh coat of TouchWiz love atop it. Even though the update file itself isn’t that large, Samsung still recommends that you have at least 3GB of space available on your Note Edge (and after the update, you’ll have about a gigabyte less space available for personal storage than you did on KitKat). So yeah, plug your phone into the charger with a solid network connection, and wait for the update to install.

The update is rolling out across Australia, though we do hope that it’ll cross the pond and begin making its way to users in the United States soon as well.
