Samsung Displays Galaxy Note 8.0 in New Galaxy Note 10.1 Promos?

Thanked to some early pics, we already know what to expect the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 to look like, and even though we’ve heard Samsung confirm that the tablet will debut at the MWC this month, we hadn’t yet seen any official imagery of it. Well, it looks like either someone slipped up, or Samsung is just interested in giving us a little preview, as what could be the Note 8.0 has now been spotted in some new promo pics for the Galaxy Note 10.1.

Samsung just introduced a new Garnet Red color option for the Note 10.1 LTE in South Korea, and while that model takes the foreground in the images Samsung released along with the tablet’s announcement, that’s arguably a white Galaxy Note 8.0 in the background. At least, it’s not the Note II with wide bezels like that, its layout isn’t even close to the Note 10.1, and it generally matches the pictures we’ve already seen purporting to be the Note 8.0 (although the front-facer and earpiece seem just a wee bit large here).

So, there you go: until the MWC rolls around, this might just be the closest thing we get to an official look at the Note 8.0.
