Samsung’s only real Android hardware news at its press event last night was the arrival of an LTE-enabled version of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10.1 for Verizon. We spent a little hands-on time with the tablet to give you a glimpse at what you can expect.

Just like the initial Note 10.1, Verizon’s version takes full advantage of Samsung’s S-Pen stylus, but starts out a little bit ahead of its predecessor thanks to the inclusion of Jelly Bean right out of the gate. As you’ll see in the video, Jelly Bean makes a big difference in system responsiveness, especially when running two apps at once.

The early software we played with was a little buggy, but that hasn’t dampened our enthusiasm for the tablet.

Verizon’s going to be getting the Note 10.1 sometime before the end of January.
