Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro GFXBench’d

This quick-rising rascal seems to be pretty quick in itself.

The Galaxy A-series 2016 has come about with the Galaxy A9 being the standard bearer for the line. That phone hit the upper mid-range on the price scale, but we wondered what a Galaxy A9 Pro would go for. We caught up with it in India and had shot the breeze a bit on what OS it would pack.

We now have a better sense of what’s going on with the SM-A9100 as a GFXBench entry has appeared.

We see a hearty octa-core processor — in all likelihood, a Snapdragon 652 — with an Adreno 510 GPU. Full measures include 4GB of RAM, a rear/front camera split of 16/8 megapixels, and Android 6.0.1.
