Samsung must be working hard on several Galaxy phones as the reports keep popping up. Earlier we’ve seen some images and specs of the upcoming Galaxy J5, and now we’re looking at this Galaxy A8 leak with alleged pictures claimed to represent the upcoming device. We’ve heard quite a bit about the Samsung Galaxy A8, so there’s definitely fire somewhere judging by the amount of smoke (and the pictures attached).
The Galaxy A8 pictured above and below is claimed to be part of an upcoming A-series of smartphones, alongside the Galaxy A6 and A9. This Galaxy A8 leak we’re currently looking at also has some specs attached, so that we all know what to expect: 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with eight cores, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD), 16-megapixel main shooter, five-megapixel front facer, fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button, dual-SIM capabilities (as seen in the images above), 4G LTE compatibility, Android 5.1.1 on-board, as well as a 3,050mAh battery. The phone will measure around 157.7mm x 76.7mm x 5.9mm and weigh 140gr.
Just like in the case of the Galaxy J5 earlier today, we have no details on pricing and availability, but with the phone already leaked, it shouldn’t be far out.
