At its Galaxy A event, Samsung finally took wraps off the Galaxy A53 5G smartphone. The new mid-range Galaxy smartphone from Samsung comes with high-end specs and an affordable price tag. Read along and learn everything about the new Samsung Galaxy A53 5G.

The key highlight feature of the Samsung Galaxy A53 is its front 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display. This display from Samsung features a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 800 nits. Compared to the other smartphones in this price range, the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G's display looks very promising.

Design-wise, the Galaxy A53 is pretty similar to the last year's version. Samsung says that the A53 is designed to be fashionable, functional, and sustainable. Samsung is offering one of the best-in-class display protection with the Galaxy A53 5G, Corning's Gorilla Glass 5. The phone also features IP67 dust and water resistance and a SIM card tray that is made out of recycled post-consumer materials.

The Galaxy A52 doesn't lack in the camera department as well. The mid-range smartphone features a quad-camera system that contains a 64MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and two 5MP depth and macro lenses. The camera features advanced OIS and VDIS technology and AI-powered improved Night mode. Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy A53 also comes with software features, such as Object Eraser and Photo Remaster, that are found in the flagship S-series smartphones.

Samsung has weirdly not mentioned the processor anywhere in the press release. It just states that the phone comes with a 5nm node process-based octa-core chipset (2x2.4GHz + 6x2GHz). What Samsung is telling us is that the Galaxy A53 will be 4 supported for 4 generations of One UI and Android OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates.
