Samsung Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 reach the US, sort of

Most of us are still trying to understand Samsung’s purpose of the Alpha lineup. While we do recognize that the build quality in devices like the Galaxy Alpha is top notch, it’s clear that the market isn’t really happy with the amount of limitations in an Alpha smartphone. That said, Samsung’s plans for more Alphas continues, and today you can get your hands on a couple.

The Samsung Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 are now available in the US, though not in the conventional route. Samsung hasn’t really launched these devices on any US carrier yet, but you can purchase these devices unlocked through Expansys as of today. You sadly won’t be able to subsidize the cost of these devices like you can traditionally, but if you’d rather live a contract-free life style, this could be a good way to go. The Galaxy A3 will cost you $329.99 unlocked, and the Galaxy A5 retails for $409.99.

Yes, these devices sport 4G LTE connectivity, but at a time where the Moto G puts both devices to shame in capabilities and price, we won’t deny this is a hard sell.
