Even though many may not be happy with Samsung’s approach at trying to do everything, it’s hard to ignore the company for how much innovation it’s brought to the market. Samsung has created a few popular categories like the phablet, and has also re-defined others in a smarter way with products like the S Pen. It’s only fair that the company lands a good amount of design awards, and today some became official.
Samsung has just announced that it has won a crazy 38 CES 2016 awards in 18 categories. If that’s as much of a shocker to you, well, the company actually landed just one more award when compared to last year, which gives you an idea of what Sammy is used to making at this particular event. Some of the innovations like the Galaxy S6 Edge+, Gear S2, and the SLEEPSense Sleep Monitor actually landed the Best Innovation Award. Other products like the Galaxy View, Gear VR, ATIV Book 9 Pro, and others also made the cut, but you can find the full list in the source link.
Surely some of Samsung’s products have left the drawing board too early to be sold, but in most cases it seems that the company has nailed good enough ideas win the market acceptance and supremacy that it currently holds.
