Samsung Announces Ice Cream Sandwich For Some (Not All) Tablets

By Joe Levi March 13, 2012, 5:08 pm

In a post on their Facebook page Samsung was "thrilled" to announce Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for several of their devices.

The post not only told us the European version of the Galaxy S II would be getting the update within the following days, but several of their tablets would also be getting the update to ICS.

The post specifically mentions the Galaxy Note, Galaxy Tab 8.9, and Galaxy Tab 10.1, which will be getting ICS "soon". While that's great news, what's interesting is that there was no mention about when (if?) the Galaxy Tab 7.7 would be getting Android 4.0.
