We’re not sure if this is the cherry on top of a new phone or something different, yet not far off. Whatever it is, Moto has sure had a fast-flowing news cycle in the past 24 hours.

HellomotoHK is back at it again, flashing some Motorola confidential property in front of some corrugated metal. A real front panel of a Moto device — you’ll want to see the Moto logomark just above the fingerprint sensor that’s not on these renders — doesn’t really provide much information, but the Google+ post tells us that the device is a “New Moto Flagship with AMOLED & ShatterShield Screen.”

Whether we’ll see both the Vertex and Vector Thin devices get the shatterproof screens or if we’re talking away from the phones, we don’t really have a clue. A Moto X Force (and thereby, the DROID Turbo 3/Maxx 3)? Could be.

We saw ShatterShield debut with the DROID Turbo 2 on Verizon in November, a five-layer combination of polymers that made for a screen that wouldn’t crack, but had more of a tendency to scratch.
