Quickly Add Sports Team Schedules to Your Calendar

By Legacy September 21, 2009, 7:50 am

There are so many different sporting events going on right now that it's hard to keep up sometimes. Many games that you may be interested in can be overlooked as a result of the massive pileup of games each week. Kicking off a couple weeks ago, college football takes over Saturdays and the NFL dominates Sundays & Mondays. The NBA's 82 game season is set to begin next month and that will just add more games to the mix. Soccer and MLB have so many matches/games that it's almost impossible to keep up with. And who knows what's going on with the NHL, just kidding hockey fans!

Well, thanks to XDA-developers, it's going to be a little easier to follow our favorite sports teams/leagues from now on. Who knows, maybe you'll even start following teams closer because of this handy utility. It's called iCalendarFactory and it basically adds selected team schedules to your Windows Mobile calendar. No need to look for schedules online to add manually, let this app do it all for you. Read on to learn more about it and to see a list of supported sports/teams.

After installing and launching the app, simply select your favorite sport, league and then team. It will add 30 days worth of scheduling to your calendar for whichever team you've selected. In the future, the developer plans to make the time interval much longer, possibly the entire season, which would be wonderful. For now, just update once a month and you're set. Also, if your sport or team is missing, just contact the developer and he will add it — if possible. You can grab iCalendarFactory from XDA-developers. The list of supported sports and teams seems to grow daily, but check out what's currently available below.
