In the far-off reaches of Barcelona, two men fight for the right to party tell their tale. Battling narrow urban canyons, strange fast-food condiments, kielbasa-selling mobile-phone salesmen, and seagulls with voices only seagull mothers could love, they fight tooth and nail to share their story. The story of the wonders of mobile technology.

You won’t hear about all of the weird encounters that have greeted Anton D. Nagy and Michael Fisher since their arrival in Spain for the 2013 Mobile World Congress, but you’ll definitely get a taste of what it’s been like on the first harrowing day chasing tech stories out here in the beautiful Barcelonian wilderness. You’ll also hear Brandon Miniman’s thoughts on the BlackBerry Z10 after some time spent with the new smartphone from Waterloo, as well as a spirited debate on the merits of HTC’s new wunderphone, the One.

That’s all capped off with Anton and Michael waxing poetic about their hopes and dreams for the new Nokia EOS, currently poised to steal the show at this year’s MWC – if it even exists. So toss a salute to the Chris Columbus statue and hop aboard; this week’s  Pocketnow Weekly is shoving off from the pier of possibility. Send feedback, questions, and requests to podcast [AT] pocketnow [DOT] com.
