Apple could soon launch a pair of over-ear headphones and the new AirPods X

Apple has disrupted the market ever since they launched the AirPods, and we’ve been hearing several rumors of the company’s next headphones. A new report claims that we should be getting Apple’s over the ear headphones as soon as WWDC with a $350 price tag. Those AirPods Pro Lite we heard of about a month ago are slated for September or October and they would cost $200, the name would be AirPods and their aim is for sports/running.

You can now enable Eyes open requirement to face unlock your Google Pixel 4

The Google Pixel 4 brought a bunch of new features like their new face unlock system which had a major flaw, your eyes didn’t need to be open to unlock the phone. Now, after six months and a bunch of requests, Google is finally requiring your eyes to be open to unlock the phone through their new April security patch. It doesn’t change the way your face is scanned it just asks for your eyes to be open, kind of like Face ID. Other improvements in the patch include fixing issues for Bluetooth audio issues and more.

Samsung’s patent application shows a phone with quad curved display

Samsung basically made curved screens popular after they introduced the Galaxy S6 Edge but the company wants to take it to another level now. A new patent application shows that Samsung is working on a quad-curved display like the one we saw with the Huawei P40 Pro recently. We don’t know if these curves at the top and bottom serve a purpose, but the metal frame is now thinner but it raises in every corner to protect the glass. We’ll see if we get this with the new Note.

The official OnePlus wireless charging dock leaked in all its glory

– Pete Lau himself confirmed recently that the OnePlus 8 Series will feature 30W wireless charging. Right after that we got some new images of Mr. Evan Blass himself showing off the charging dock. The new wireless charger reportedly gives you 50% in 30 minutes, it also comes equipped with a built-in fan to keep your device cool while charging. We’re about a week away from the launch so we’ll keep you posted.

Story of the day:

Leaked images show a new iPhone 12 with a smaller notch and other details

Some new renders that allegedly belong to the iPhone 12 show us some of the new features. From a hardware perspective we have smaller notch at the front and 4 camera sensors at the back which are now placed symmetrically. The 4th sensor is reportedly a LiDAR sensor like the one we got with the new iPad Pros. On the software side, the home screen shows some new icons that come in different sizes which are clearly not regular apps and follow up with the leaks we shared yesterday of widgets making it to iOS 14.
