Pete Lau shows us the difference that 120Hz displays will do in the OnePlus 8 Pro

Pete Lau just posted a video on twitter that shows off how their new 120Hz display technology. They put it side by side with a 60Hz display to show how smooth it is. This serves as a hint of what to expect for the OnePlus 8 but the difference over a 90Hz display isn’t really that bad.

HUAWEI Mate Xs foldable to be cheaper and more durable

We are expecting Huawei to launch the Mate XS sometime in Q1. Some of the changes we’re expecting according to some reports include, changes to the hinge and durability improvements, a Kirin 990 with 5G support, and the device will also be smaller but maintain the same display footprint. Probably the most important rumor is that it will be cheaper than the original Mate X. There’s also some rumors about another Huawei foldable that could be a clamshell design like the Moto RAZR.

New leaks of the Huawei P40

Yesterday we got some renders of the Huawei P40, now we get more renders showing off the colors and the bottom of the P40 Pro. At the bottom we see the USB-C port, no headphone jack and the speakers. The P40 packs triple cameras as well but we see the periscope lens along with a ToF sensor to the right. The color variants include Black, Blush Gold, Silver Frost, Deep Sea Blue, and Ice White.

Detailed specs for the camera sensors in the complete Samsung Galaxy S20 series have leaked

We have a full list of the specs and camera sensors for the S20 line from Ice Universe. Apparently the regular S20 will bring a 12MP main sensor, a 64MP Zoom lens, a 12MP ultra wide and no ToF. The S20+ will bring the same sensors but at the ToF sensor. Finally, the S20 Ultra will have a 108MP sensor, a 48MP zoom lens, a 44MP ultra wide, and a ToF sensor. All of them would bring 10MP selfie shooters.

Story of the day:

iPhone 12 could come with better 3D sensors and the power of a MacBook Pro

A new report from Barclays claims that the iPhone 12 will bring improved Face ID sensors. Apple brings better Face ID every year but these are hardware improvements to the true depth camera system. The report also says that there will be a 3D sensing ToF sensor for the back camera as well. Another report claims that the new A14 chip will be a 5nm process. This means that the iPhones will now bring 5G, 6GB of RAM and this 5nm processor will make it as powerful as a 15in MacBook Pro.
