Motorola Edge+ renders leak, confirm 108MP camera

We’ve been getting leaks for Motorola’s upcoming Edge+ flagship. Now we got some renders from Mr. Evan Blass that show off the phone’s entire design. It has little to no bezels and a punch hole on the top right corner of the display. At the back we can see triple cameras and we now get confirmation that this phone will bring a 108MP camera on what seems to be a large camera hump. The phone is rumored to launch on April 3rd.

HUAWEI teases P40 series of smartphones in short video clip

Huawei just shared a new 15 second teaser for the P40 Series which we are expecting to see on March 26th. The video kinda confirms the camera hump at the back that looks like the one on the S20 Ultra. It also shows the curved display but it is not as curved as the waterfall display on the Mate 30 Pro. The teaser also has the hashtag #VisionaryPhotography. We are expecting the Premium variant of this phone to bring up to 5 cameras at the back, so we hope the hashtag delivers.

Samsung tipped to be working on a 150MP camera sensor

A new report from South Korea claims that Samsung is working on a new 150MP sensor. The sensor will have a 1in size which is larger than the 1/1.33-in ISOCELL Bright HM1 sensor in the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. This sensor will be limited to flagships and the report says that companies like Xiaomi, OPPO and vivo are the three OEMs that are requesting Samsung to provide sensors for them. Xiaomi will reportedly be the first to bring the sensor in Q4 of this year and OPPO and vivo might bring it next year. It will most likely be paired with the Snapdragon 875.

According to iOS 14 code, we could also get a new iPhone 9 Plus

The rumors of the iPhone 9 have been going around for over a year now but now we have rumors of an iPhone 9 Plus. The guys over at 9to5Mac found in the iOS 14 code that Apple might be working on a Plus variant with a 5.5in display that may come with the regular 4.7in variant. Both of them are supposed to bring the A13 Bionic and a Home Button with Touch ID, like the one on the iPhone 8.

Pixel 5 won’t be a flagship smartphone: Rumor

A rumor that was posted by 9to5Google over the weekend hints that the Google Pixel 5 might not be a flagship smartphone. A detail analysis of a pre-released version of the Google camera app says that the Google Pixel 5 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G which is less powerful than the current Pixel 4. We’re still 6 months away so we should take this with a grain of salt but this could mean that Google is going all out on the mid-ranger.
