Verizon may be getting the rumored-but-highly-likely Palm Pre 2, if an image sent to Engadget is in fact from the company’s so-called VZLearn internal training portal. It is not clear from the image when Verizon plans on releasing the unannounced device.

Several days of rumors have made a second-generation Pre more and more likely: first we saw what appeared to be an official article about the handset on French carrier SFR’s website, and then alleged pictures of this model showed up on French site MobiFrance. According to the SFR post, the Pre 2 will feature a 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, and ship with the unreleased webOS version 2.0.
