If the power of a mobile smartphone operating system is not enough for you, OQO, which had closed its doors several years ago, is now back with a UMPC for the Chinese market called the Model03. The latest Model03 UMPC runs Windows 7, a desktop OS, and offers some improvements over the Model02, the company's last known offering when it closed its doors some years ago.

Along with 3G, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, and Windows 7 with multitouch support, the Model03 will retail in China for approximately $4,700 USD, though the company hasn't announced plans for a US release.

The Windows 7 pocket-sized data-centric computer will come with options for Intel Atom processors clocking in between 1.2 GHz and 2.0 GHz.

Although the UMPCs made by OQO have attractive designs, their higher price tags have kept the company's offerings out of the reach of many consumers.
