OPPO R7 pre-orders get kicked off in the US
Been itching for an OPPO R7 ever since you saw Jaime Rivera’s hands-on video with the phone? Living in the US? Well, you’re in luck. OPPO is one of the few Chinese manufacturers to consistently make its products available across the pond in the States, and its latest product, the R7, is no exception. OPPO R7 US pre-orders have officially been kicked off today.
The phone will begin shipping at some point early in July, with pre-orders going for US$399 with free shipping included. To sweeten the deal, the company is also throwing in a complimentary pair of headphones. One thing to keep in mind if you’re purchasing the R7 in the US is that you won’t be able to pull an LTE signal on any GSM carrier here – you’ll be confined to HSPA+ speeds, which may or may not be a deal-breaker depending on your intended uses of the phone.
If you’re interested in purchasing an Oppo R7, you’ll probably want to have a look at some of its specs, which were talked about by Anton D. Nagy in his post relaying the announcement of the device. And, of course, give Jaime Rivera’s hands-on a look before you buy!
