OPPO R7 renders leaked, fingerprint scanner rumored
We’ve heard and seen a lot about the upcoming OPPO R7 (allegedly to be unveiled on May 20), including real life images as well as a video showing off the bezel-less design achieved with the help of a curved glass that conceals the edges with its reflections and refractions. We also know to expect a very thin design, a 4.7-inch Full HD screen, an octa-core MediaTek 64-bit MT6795 chipset, and a 20.7MP camera.
However, for the first time, we’re hearing about a possible fingerprint scanner that might be on-board as well. While you can’t see it clearly in the renders above and below, it could very well be on the front, beneath the home button, pretty much like Samsung does it with the Galaxy S6 (and Edge), or Apple with its iPhones.
And, talking about the OPPO R7 renders leaked today, we see an emerald and a beige device, but those two color options might not be the only ones in which the phone will be available. What we can see is the incredibly thin design (with the camera no longer protruding), and design which resembles the iPhone and the new Galaxy S6 devices.
