Oppo R5 hands-on (Video)

By Rithvik Rao October 29, 2014, 5:01 am

Its bigger brother may be capturing all of the attention in the limelight, but that doesn’t mean the Oppo R5 doesn’t hold a candle to the N3. We’ve already covered the basics of the phone in a news post, but now it’s time to give you a look at the phone itself. This is our Oppo R5 hands-on.

The design isn’t as remarkable as that of the N3, but there is something to be said about the R5’s looks. It’s ultra-thin, just 4.8mm at its thickest, and boasts a “macro-arc frame.” The TL;DR of it all, is that the R5 looks pretty good, and if you aren’t convinced, just have a peek at our gallery of pictures below.

It isn’t too bad as far as specs go, too. There’s a 1080p display amounting to 423ppi– not bad at all – and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 CPU. It also features an assortment of camera features for the 13-megapixel Sony BSI sensor, but all of this is better explained by our man on the ground Jaime Rivera in the Oppo R5 hands-on video below.

So, without further delay, give the video below a watch, and leave us your thoughts in the comments section down below.
