Oppo N3 event teased for October; leaked renders are hot
It seems that last weeks rumors did end up coming true. Oppo has the successor to its acclaimed N1 ready for action in Asia, and even though the logical step was for this phone to be called the N2, it seems the company thought otherwise. We’re still wondering why the number jump with this device, but if you look at some separate leaked renders that we’ve found, you’ll probably understand why.
Oppo hasn’t been specific on the date that we’ll see the Oppo N3 announced, but what we do know is that the device will sport a smaller design than its predecessor, and the same swivel camera that we saw last year. At the moment it’s hard to predict how this swivel camera will work, but if we judge some leaked renders that landed on the web even before Oppo made its announcement official, things start to fall into place. If these leaked renders are real, the departure in design from the original N1 is so significant, that a number leap almost makes marketing sense.
It’s hard to predict if these renders are real, but if they are, Oppo could definitely shake the market a little, as the “Selfie” phone is the new thing everywhere.
