The Oppo Find 7a was a pretty sweet phone, as evidenced by our full review of the handset, but just over the horizon was an even more powerful Oppo smartphone — the Find 7. Many stuck out to purchase the Find 7a’s higher-end sibling, and those people are likely delighted, as Oppo Find 7 pre-orders are now open at an online retailer.

First, let’s talk differences between the Find 7a and Find 7. It’s all about spec upgrades, with the screen, RAM, clock speed, and storage capacity having been upgraded to better compete with other high-end flagships like LG’s G3. A 2K display with a pixel density of 538 ppi, 3GB of RAM, a 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, and 32 GB of onboard storage make the Find 7 what it is.

The Oppo Style store is currently taking pre-orders for the Find 7, with the device itself costing $599. That’s not a terrible asking price (at $100 more than the Find 7a), as many competitive flagships cost much more. The phone can be purchased in either Astro Black or White, and early pre-orders will get an added bonus. The retailer will hand the first 1,000 pre-orderers a free 6,000 mAh battery pack, good for about two full charges of the Find 7.
