If you work in any aspect of the cellular industry and are either a fan of OnePlus, 5G or mobile gaming, you’ll be set to head to the Qualcomm booth at MWC 2019 in Barcelona. No, it’s not part of a social mixer for professionals that OnePlus is also hosting.

The company has announced a slate of panels in which its executives will be participating in — pointedly, it has been working towards creating a 5G phone for exclusive use on EE UK’s upcoming new network.

However, it has also opted to set up a stand at the Qualcomm staging area in Hall 3 of Fira de Barcelona to showcase gaming through a 5G network with a prototype phone. Keep in mind that any 5G device coming out of OnePlus will not be the OnePlus 7 — that’s a separate project.

But you have to be there in order to play there. The GSMA is still selling exhibition passes 14 days before MWC 2019 starts with prices starting at €799.
