PC World released their list of top ten smartphones and the names on the list all appear familiar, with the Motorola Droid placing first, followed by the iPhone 3GS, Motorola CLIQ, and the BlackBerry Bold 9700. A few Android devices also made the list, notably the Smasung Behold II and the T-Mobile myTouch 3G made by HTC. The Palm Pre placed sixth and the Windows Mobile 6.5 Verizon Wireless Samsung Omnia II placed ninth. Rounding out with number ten is the Droid Eris, essentially an HTC Hero variant for Verizon Wireless.

In total, there were five Android devices, two BlackBerry smartphones, one webOS representation, a requisite homage to Apple’s iPhone, and one vote for Windows Mobile.
