Omnia II Hardware Tour

In this video, we give you a tour of the hardware on the new Samsung Omnia II.

Overall, the device has a high-quality feel. The most stunning aspect of the Omnia II is the screen…it’s large and high resolution, plus sports AMOLED technology to produce deeper blacks and more vivid colors.

We’re happy to report that the Omnia II has the much coveted 3.5mm headphone jack, plus uses microUSB for charging and syncing. What you won’t find on the Omnia II is a built-in stylus. Like the original Omnia, the stylus comes as an external dangling accessory, as seen in the picture below. Since the interface is well optimized for finger-navigation, this isn’t too big of a problem.

We’ll be back with the software tour. In case you missed it, check out the unboxing video.
