Norton Smartphone Security for Android

No, it isn’t anti-virus software for your Android, instead Norton Smartphone Security takes a big step back from their desktop suite and looks at what types of threats smartphones may need protection from.

As you can see in the screenshot, Norton’s app allows you to remotely lock and wipe your phone, protects you from malware (malicious software), lets you block suspicious or harassing phone calls, and brings Live Update along to keep the app’s definitions up-to-date.

Currently, the app is available free in the Market as a 90 day trial, but no post-trial pricing was available at the time of this writing.
