After Nokia fixed the battery issues some users were experiencing with the Lumia 800 Windows Phone, the company made a promise it will improve the camera on the phone.

While there’s no exact ETA on the update, Damian Dinning, Head of Imaging Experience over at Nokia, tweeted a picture taken with his own Lumia 800. Accompanying the image was information according to which Nokia is working on some improvements but there are no details and no announcements to be made at this moment. Despite the Carl Zeiss optics on the camera, the Lumia 800 doesn’t bring exceptional images but the culprit seems to reside in software (rendering) rather than hardware. We’re looking forward to seeing the improvements, whenever Espoo pushes them out (fingers crossed for soon!).
