Nokia Shows Off White And Very Much International Lumia 900

Nokia officially unveiled the Lumia 800 in glossy white yesterday, adding one more color to the range. What Nokia didn’t unveil in either white or any other color was an international version of the AT&T Lumia 900, announced at this year’s CES.

This could very well be a teaser — though we believe it is not as the picture is labeled Nokia Lumia 800 — or someone making a terrible mistake (for which we are thankful): Nokia’s Facebook page features a white and very much international version of the Lumia 900. If you have any doubts about that — we don’t see any reason why you would — we’ve put it right next to the “real” Nokia Lumia 800.

Stephen Elop hinted that there might be an international variant for the American Lumia 900 and there were also several rumors talking about the device probably featuring an improved camera, heading to other carriers.

MWC is just around the corner; we can’t say with absolute certainty that the International Nokia Lumia 900 will officially see the light of day but we are more and more optimistic as days go by (and thanks to the pictures above). However, it would be a smart move for Nokia: after the company unveiled the Lumia 710 — which landed on T-Mobile USA’s line-up — and the Lumia 800 as European exclusives, it would be just normal to bring the flagship to Europe and other regions too.

If that’s the case, and we sure hope it is, we’re expecting at least the untouched specs of the AT&T variant: 4.3-inch AMOLED ClearBlack display, 1.4 GHz processor, eight-megapixel main camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash, one-megapixel front camera, 16 GB internal memory, 512 MB RAM, and 1830mAh battery.

Update: …and the images are gone, which means we weren’t supposed to see them in the first place.
