After we’ve already seen the Nokia 500, the Finnish manufacturer has today officially announced the phone which you can customize on the outside to match your mood with the help of colored back covers.

The Nokia 500 runs the latest version of Symbian codenamed Anna and it is operated by a 1GHz processor. On the front there’s a 3.2-inch display with resolutionj of 640 x 360 pixels and the back features a five-megapixel camera. Storage-wise, there’s 2GB of internal memory expandable to 32GB using the micro-SD card slot. The radio is pentaband making sure you are connected wherever you travel and there’s also Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi b/g, to keep you connected.

The main colors will be black and white with a three-tone choice for the back covers, with more flavors being added later. The 500 will cost roughly 150 EU (around $215) unlocked and will arrive in the third quarter of the year. Until then, check out the videos below!
