While Nokia is still tweaking Symbian^3 right now for the Nokia N8–the device won’t be ready until the third quarter–we did get a chance to take a look at some of the features behind the OS and some of the software that complements the feature-rich specs of the Nokia N8.

The OS brings some features from the Maemo OS to Symbian, such as a visual task switcher and manager, multiple home screens, and simplified settings control. Additionally, the device also comes with an image editor and video editing software built-in to take advantage of shots and videos captured with the 12-megapixel camera that’s capable of 720p HD video recording at 25 fps.
