Nokia Martini being tipped as a future Windows Phone 8.1 device

We were expecting Nokia to wow us at MWC 2014 with a decent amount of Windows Phone 8.1 devices. Oddly, Windows Phone 8.1 was announced, but Nokia focused on announcing entry-level Asha products, and even its new Nokia X Android smartphone line-up. If you’re worried about the future of Windows Phone 8.1 in the hands of Nokia as Microsoft’s self-owned OEM, you shouldn’t as new reports point to devices coming soon.

Famous tipster Evleaks has just tweeted that we should keep an eye on a device codenamed Nokia Martini. The post reads “Nokia watchers: Look out for Martini, another Windows Phone Blue handset”, which makes it certain that every future Nokia device that we’ll see in the next coming months will run Windows Phone 8.1.

Sadly the tweet doesn’t include any press render or device photo to help us understand more about what Nokia plans to bring to the table with its new Martini. Whatever the case may be, more rumors should arrive soon, and we’re hopping that this Martini is shaked, and not stirred.
