There was a little bit of back and forth when it comes to the Nokia Lumia 1520 pre-orders for AT&T. Initially Microsoft has pushed a Store page live which allowed future owners to pre-order their phones, just to yank the page in less than 12 hours, saying that it was prematurely published.

Today, the pre-orders for the phone went live again at both Microsoft and AT&T and you can secure your unit of the first Windows Phone phablet. Then there’s a lot of other stuff to talk about, like Nexus 5, Android 4.4 KitKat, the iPad Air, BlackBerry’s new CEO / decision to not sell, and other topics.

Everyone has pretty much unleashed their phones on the market for this year and we’re not expecting major announcements. That’s not to say the Moto G announcement from next week is something to ignore; however, we don’t think it will disrupt the market.

The above, ladies and gents, are our topic for today’s installment of the Live show. We can, of course, talk about anything else, really. It’s up to you, as long as you join us for our usual weekly casual time. Today, Friday, November 8, 10:00 AM EDT (click for your own time zone).
