Nexus 6P leak reveals four color options for the upcoming Nexus phablet

The last 24 hours have seen new Nexus phone leaks explode with plenty of great developments: we saw packaging, retail pictures, and picked up a bunch of new details about the Nexus 5X from a premature Amazon listing. Now the flood of Nexus leaks continues with the release of a new Nexus 6P image, revealing the color options that should be available at launch.

While we don’t know just how Google might brand all these shades, as you can clearly see above, we’re looking at white, black, silver, and gold.

As you may recall from the earlier Amazon Nexus 5X leak, that model should offer a bit more color (if not fewer options, total), with white, black, and blue editions of the handset.

This source notes that while the Nexus 6P will be available in the four colors depicted up top, not all of them will necessarily be options everywhere, and that gold model in particular may end up being an exclusive – but exclusive to what, we don’t yet know. We may also see additional colors arrive at some future point (as Google likes to do with its Nexus phones), but that’s no guarantee, and for now there’s no indication what other shades might someday join these four.
