Nexus 5 running Android 4.4 KitKat to be unveiled on October 14?

The Google Nexus 5 — about which we don’t know whether it will be called that way, will be made by LG, or any other solid info for that matter — is present in headlines almost every day, from leaked renders to FCC filings. The next version of Android, number 4.4, dubbed KitKat, is also something we’ve already gotten used to reading about by now.

According to this report, the Nexus 5 will ship, together with Android 4.4 KitKat — so far, it makes all the sense in the world — on October 14, 2013. The Nexus 4 was announced on October 29, 2012 — we remember that, as it should have been an event but because of extreme weather events, it became a press release launch — so it would also fit the yearly-release-cycle pattern. We’ll definitely let you know more as soon as we find out details.
