Nexus 4 Arriving In White, As Well?

The Galaxy Nexus launched with only a black color option available. Months later, we learned of a white edition of the smartphone, but it never managed to penetrate the US market. With the Nexus 4, Google could be doing things differently right from the start, as a new leak suggests that the smartphone could launch in both black and white.

This screencap is attributed to the computer system used by Carphone Warehouse, which was responsible for the short-lived Nexus 4 webpage we saw go up (and come right back down) earlier today. Obviously, as a UK retailer, this doesn’t necessarily mean we’ll be seeing the same options come to carriers in the US, but if both colors are available on launch day, we’d say the chances of everyone having the same options are a whole lot more likely.

All we need now is a picture of this white Nexus 4. The sparkly backplate could end up looking pretty blinged-out against a white background. Do you think you’d be more interested in a white model like that than the black design we’ve seen in so many early pics?
