Getting your hands on a Nexus 4 has been a real chore lately. If you missed-out on the brief moments when the phone was available through Google Play at its rock-bottom off-contract price, you’ve either had to bite the bullet and get the phone through T-Mobile or track down a reseller and pay an inflated price for the handset. Sure, MWC is right around the corner, and along with it news of higher and higher-end phones, but if you’re still hoping to get the chance to purchase a cheap, pure Android phone from Google itself, today may be your lucky day, with news that the Nexus 4 is just about to return to Google Play.

In some countries, it’s already there – we’ve heard it confirmed for the Play Store in Germany. In the US, at least, the phone’s page no longer reads “sold out”, now indicating the phone is “temporarily out of stock”. Rumors are suggesting that this is a sign of Google preparing to bring the phone back in just a matter of minutes, with sales supposedly set to re-launch at noon, Eastern.

If you don’t want to miss out on this latest opportunity to snag a Nexus 4, you might want to take your lunch break a little early and start practicing hitting that F5 key.

Update: We’re past noon and nothing yet in the US…

Update 2: …and it’s back up for sale, shipping in one to two weeks!
