Nextbit Robin Nougat update gets pushed

Even if Nextbit doesn’t exist as its own entity anymore, all of its resources and support structures are still there to come around its flagship Robin smartphone. That device has proven to be a fairly popular yet affordable phone with a constant link to cloud storage.

So, there will be plenty of users happy to know that the final build for Android Nougat is finally heading out with January’s security patch. The 7.0 package was crafted with help from Paranoid Android developers. For those on the beta program, that’s build 88 to watch for.

An OTA is rolling out quite slowly for Nextbit forum users, but that kind of thing takes time.
