New Nexus 5 pics pour in from multiple sources

Are we really just days away from the Nexus 5’s launch? That sure seems to be the commonly held belief, but we could say the same about any number of earlier days this month when the Nexus 5 failed to materialize. Maybe our luck has finally changed, and this week really will bring us news of Google’s next smartphone. In any case, as we wait for this rascal to go official, we’ve got several new looks at the hardware to share with you.

The FCC-looking ones below come from China’s NCC, one of the nation’s regulatory agencies. As such, it’s not quite surprising that it’s the same sort of unadorned hardware we might expect to see in FCC pics, here bereft of the Nexus logo around back.

The one up top and to the left is attributed to a Malaysian LG service center, while the top right gives us an early unboxing shot. Based on its previous appearances in leaks, that blue look for the phone’s packaging is seeming more and more confirmed.

We love seeing all these images, and while we hope they keep on coming, an actual launch would be so much nicer.
