If you think that Windows Mobile isn't powerful enough for you, then you need to check out the new dual-screen fliptop from MIU, which runs Windows XP on the internal flip-up screen a la the SideKick design. There is an exterior screen that does the phone functions, kind of similar to the Nokia Communicator line. The machine will have an ARM processor for the phone side and an Intel Atom processor to run XP. Expect GSM, GPRS, and CDMA connectivity. The phone can run Windows CE, which is the operating system that Windows Mobile is built upon, or Linux. Pricing is expected to stay around $500 according to Engadget.
