New HP computers and laptops announced, alongside HTC collaboration

The CES 2016 frenzy continues, this time around, with new HP computers. The company announced a slew of computers and laptops, alongside a collaboration with HTC, regarding its latest Vive model. HP will deliver a certified virtual reality ready desktop PC for gamers, the HP ENVY Phoenix, pictured above. Powering the Vive by HTC, the two products are promised to deliver “the most immersive room scale VR solution available today”. Priced starting $1,700, the ENVY Phoenix will launch on January 16, with customisable configurations that include options for Intel Core i7 K-series processor, 2TB hard drive, and AMD Radeon R9 390x or NVIDIA’s GTX 980 Ti graphics card choices. The HP EliteBook Folio (pictured below), is marketed as “the world’s thinnest and lightest business-class Laptop, at 12.4 mm and under 1kg. Running Windows 10, it has a 12.5-inch screen, a sixth Generation Intel Core Processor, 8GB of RAM, and comes as part of a family of new products together with the HP EliteBook 1040 G3, and the HP EliteBook 800 G3 series. Last, but not least, the HP Pavilion x2 (pictured below) is a 12.1-inch metal-built detachable PC that’s 8.4mm thick. It can be powered by either the  Intel Atom processor (coming with 64GB eMMC storage) or a sixth generation Intel Core M processor (with 128GB or 256GB SSD storage).
