Official releases of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich are slowly starting to arrive on smartphones and tablets — though not as quickly as many would like.

For those who are impatient (myself included), custom ROMs are the solution to get the latest OS on our phones. Today, the Samsung MyTouch 4G Slide gets an early taste of Ice Cream Sandwich!

Here’s what isn’t working just yet:

– Camera

– FM Radio

– Accelerometer

– Keyboard Light

– USB Storage

– Tethering

– Notification LED

Most of the “big stuff” is working. Although this isn’t a CyanogenMod ROM, it is from AOSP code, so it should be very clean, and fairly stable. If you have a MyTouch 4G Side and give this ROM a try, make sure you let us know in the comments!
