The Motorola RAZR HD has been very active posing for the camera recently. As with the case of the RAZR and the RAZR MAXX, with its extra large battery, the RAZR HD is expected to have a slightly fatter twin, the RAZR MAXX HD.

According to recent reports, both HD follow-ups to the RAZR and RAZR MAXX are likely to be announced in October. However, the report is very thin and goes on mentioning that even this October timeframe, hinted by “sources”, is not set in stone: it may all depend on how well the current RAZR and RAZR MAXX devices perform on the market until that likely announcement date.

Despite the camera shots we’ve seen, there are still no certain specs to go by. However, the phone(s) will allegedly pack a 720p display, a Snapdragon S4 CPU clocking at 1.5GHz as well as an eight-megapixel camera. Nothing’s certain though.
