A little bit prematurely, Motorola has put out a promo video outing their Moto E budget device. Though we still do not know specs or price (we will be sure to bring that to you when the information becomes available to us), this is the Moto E — it’s official.

In the video, Motorola notes a “sharp scratch-resistant display,” a “water-resistant splash guard,” a battery lasting all-day (we’re assuming 24 hours, similar to the Moto X), and the latest version of Android (4.4.2) with guaranteed updates in the future.

The device also comes with Moto Shells for customization, just as its younger sibling, the Moto G, did.

The video is embedded below for your viewing pleasure. Keep in mind that it is unlisted at the time of writing, and may disappear from the Internet at any time.

Again, we will be coming at you with more information as it becomes available to us — this is only the beginning, folks.
