Moto 360 sees hefty price drops at multiple retailers as new model approaches
The time is summer 2015, and what that means is that we’re easing slowly into a period of very high-profile mobile releases. The IFA 2015 trade show is incoming, we’re gearing up to see what Apple has to announce separately, and a couple Android manufacturers are also expected to hold their own events, including Motorola. It was last summer when the Moto 360 was first announced, so it’s about time that we look forward to a sequel to the device… which means Moto 360 price drops.
At three different retailers – the Google Store, Amazon, and Motorola’s own web store interface, specifically – the wearable is available for just $150. That price point isn’t bad at all for the wearable, and speaking as someone who has wore one for months, it’s a tempting offering. But if you’re interested, you will have to consider that the internals are already becoming a bit outdated, and in a few months when a sequel to the 360 is out, you may be finding yourself with a brand new but unusable watch. So definitely keep that in mind if you’re contemplating a purchase.
