Okay, we’ve seen this vivo X7 Plus before…

But we’re obliged to talk about it, if only for the market dynamics. And boy, is Chinese manufacturer vivo expecting the market to move.

The X7 and X7 Plus are expected to be in the “mid-rangers-plus” category. The phablet of the two — can you guess — will have a 5.7-inch full HD screen and it’s tied to a Snapdragon 652 with 4GB of RAM and a 16-megapixel main camera. There could be more RAM and more storage in another variant that may cost way more.

How much more? Well, the base model is rumored to be somewhere above ¥2,500 (approx. $400+) and the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant could top at ¥3,288 ($503).

Nothing’s confirmed until June 30, but until then, you may stare into the iAbyss in its supposed Rose Gold dummy glory and then let it stare back into you.
