Microsoft’s cute, square-ish KIN One Windows Phone, which promised to be a social networking powerhouse, has been discontinued, but that’s not stopping imitators from cloning the KIN One’s unique shape. The UI and overall hardware looks very familiar to the original that it is trying to knock-off, while the clone eschews Verizon Wireless’s CDMA network support in favor of GSM via the clone’s dual-SIM support. Other features include a 2.2-inch QVGA screen, 1.3-megapixel rear camera with flash and 0.3-megapixel front camera, and a 108 MHz CPU. Not quite the powerhouse that the original had intended to be, but this clone still carries forth some of the original design aesthetics, including the green buttons and typography that was fun and funky on the original.
