Get the original Microsoft Surface with Touch Cover for just $279

By Rithvik Rao May 25, 2014, 9:13 am

Though we’re now onto the Surface Pro 3, some of Microsoft’s older offerings may still be worth the buy. As part of its Memorial Day sale, Microsoft is offering up the 64GB original Surface for $249, and tossing in a Touch Cover for just $30 more.

Nothing has changed about the Windows RT tablet — it still has the same 10.6-inch 1366×768 display, 64GB of storage, 2GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. Whether that is enough for you entirely depends on your use-case. If you rarely ever need your computer for intensive tasks such as video editing, and can live with the app selection on Microsoft’s app store, this definitely could be worth it.

POCKETNOW VIDEO OF THE DAY

The tablet comes new straight from Microsoft, at a $220 discount with the Touch Cover, and a $200 discount without. Anyone planning on purchasing one?
