The Elite x3’s initial rush to market has HP reeling the Windows 10 Mobile phone back just a bit. While the US is seeing some sales action going on, some Microsoft Stores are holding back. In particular, there’s one in Virginia that won’t sell the high-power, business-focused device until mid-October.

Windows Central was notified that a tipster got word “that the Elite x3 cannot be sold until October 11th.”

Inventory is in stock rooms, but the main roadblock happens to be camera issues that HP is trying to fix.

The Microsoft Store websites for the US and Canada have listed the phone for pre-orders will fulfillment starting September 26. HP is notifying customers when orders are online.
