Even with how desperate Microsoft is in gaining some mobile traction, we wonder why we’ve seen such a long delay in the company launching another Lumia flagship. Surely it does make sense for the company to finalize Windows 10 Mobile, and have this flagship become the first device to support it. The problem is when the market has waited for more than a year, and when it seems there is still more to wait.

New leaks show us the possible specs of two Microsoft flagship Lumias to come, and judging by some recent rumors, we believe these are the Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL. When it comes to the Lumia 940 we see a:

– 5.2-inch display (2560×1440)
– 32GB of internal storage
– 20 MP rear camera
– 3000mAh battery

And in the case of the larger Lumia 940 XL phablet, we see a:

– 5.7-inch display (2560×1440)
– 32GB of internal storage
– 20 MP rear camera
– 3300mAh battery
– Snapdragon 808

It’s hard to predict how early we may see these products ready for a launch, but judging by the summer promise of Windows 10, that’s our best bet.
