It’s taken a bit longer to get Marshmallow out to the DROID Turbo 2‘s sibling device, but it’s finally said to be here.

The Motorola-made DROID Maxx 2 is now taking in OTAs to get to software version 24.64.4 with Android Marshmallow. In addition to the typical features like Doze and Now on Tap, Moto Assist is improved for “do not disturb” and driving scenarios and Ambient Display gets absorbed into Moto Display.

As typical with these rodeos, you might need to wait up to a week or so before the package arrives.
